I’m the beloved author for “The Gothic Book Club.” I love all things witchy, gothic, dark, and romantic. My reasoning for choosing to do this blog is because sometimes even I’m not sure what books I want to read, as many others!

Sometimes we just want to know before we buy what we may be getting ourselves into. Sometimes certain styles of writing, or the books itself aren’t what we expected. That’s perfectly fine! We all love whatever we love.

I am an aspiring book author myself. I am a stay-at-home mom, who just wants to do her part of being a productive member of society as does anyone else. This is my way of being able to earn my own money, as well as contribute to doing everything I love.

Writing is such an escape for me. Whether it’s choosing to do this blog, and reviewing books (which, reading is another large hobby I love so much) or creating another world for other bookworms to escape into as well.

For my husband, video games give the same escape that books do for me. I use imagery and the descriptions to create my own world in my head during any bad days, or just when I want to relax and “escape” reality. Video games just have a very in front of you type of escape.

A lot of what you will find is dark romance, spicy, or even a lot of fantasy fiction books that I review on this blog, because that’s my usual genres I always adore. I did set up a personal email that anyone is welcome to send me any suggestions you’d like me to review, or even that you find I may enjoy! I’m always open to other options of books.

When it comes to the spicy reviews, viewer discretion is absolutely advised. I won’t hold back, such as a lot of the books don’t either. If it is something you won’t want to see, that’s okay! No judgement and just keep scrolling for the less spicy reviews.
